About Julie E. Firestone
Ms. Firestone counsels medium to high net worth individuals and families on a variety of wealth management matters including federal wealth transfer taxation (estate, gift, and generation-skipping taxes), business succession planning, estate and trust administration, fiduciary income taxation, estate planning, and probate administration. In particular, Ms. Firestone has extensive experience in administering large and complex decedents’ estates and advising clients on the corresponding post-mortem estate and income tax planning and compliance obligations.
Ms. Firestone is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association (member and past Chair of the Estate Planning, Probate & Trust Law Section.) She is also a member of the Estate Planning Council of Cleveland, the Akron Tax & Estate Planning Council, and the Akron Community Foundation Professional Advisor Committee. Additionally, she speaks regularly on topics of estate planning.
Ms. Firestone received her B.S./B.A degree in Accountancy from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio in 1993. She received her J.D. degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 1996. She is licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio and is also a licensed CPA (inactive) in Ohio.
Ms. Firestone is involved in community and charitable organizations. She is a Trustee and past Vice President of the Summit Choral Society and a Trustee and past President of Brecksville-Broadview Heights Schools Foundation.
