Overview
We provide advice on a wide range of estate planning techniques, from financial power of attorney, business succession planning, gift and estate tax planning, living wills and health care powers of attorney to wills, financial powers of attorney, trusts, probate administration, revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts, estate and income tax preparation.
Trusts, Wills, Powers of Attorney, Advance Medical Directives
We encourage every client to talk with one of our estate planning attorneys. Typically, we will review current documents and analyze assets, and discuss personal and business objectives in depth. We will then create an estate plan tailored to meet those objectives in the most cost efficient manner possible. Such a plan may include wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, financial powers of attorney, health care powers of attorney and advance medical directives (living wills). Where appropriate, our attorneys may also recommend more sophisticated planning techniques including lifetime gifting programs, charitable trusts, and other wealth management techniques.
Probate Administration
Our estate planning lawyers are experienced in all of the issues surrounding the administration of estates, including probate proceedings, preparation and filing of estate, gift and income tax returns, and tax audits. Throughout the administration process, we strive to ensure that the decedent’s personal and business planning goals are achieved.
Family Entities
We counsel individuals on the formation, operation and dissolution of family controlled limited partnerships, LLCs, corporations, and charitable foundations.
