Singerman, Mills, Desberg & Kauntz Co., L.P.A. is pleased to announce that Nathaniel D. Tucker has joined the firm as an associate attorney. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Tucker practiced in the Akron, Ohio area at Krugliak, Wilkins, Griffiths & Dougherty Co., L.P.A.
Mr. Tucker advises businesses and individuals on tax issues related to various business transactions, including entity selection, mergers and acquisitions, and asset and stock purchases. He has advised non-profit organizations on applying for tax-exempt status, private inurement and private benefit, and unrelated business taxable income. Additionally, Mr. Tucker is experienced in handling tax controversies at the federal, state and local level.
Mr. Tucker currently serves on the Board of Directors of Royal Redeemer Lutheran Church in North Royalton, Ohio, and previously served as an adjunct professor of Legal Analysis, Research, and Writing at The University of Akron School of Law.
Mr. Tucker graduated from Ashland University (cum laude) as well as The University of Akron (summa cum laude) in both its School of Law and College of Business, where he earned his Juris Doctor and Masters of Taxation degrees, respectively.
