About Abbie R. Pappas
Ms. Pappas works closely with clients to develop and analyze estate plans appropriate to their needs and objectives. She provides counsel on the use of wills and trusts, gift planning, lifetime and post-mortem tax planning, living wills, powers of attorney, and estate administration. She has also lectured on the topic of charitable tax planning and has served as pro bono counsel for several nonprofit organizations. She has experience in both domestic and international tax and estate planning and is licensed to practice law in both Ohio and New York.
Ms. Pappas received her B.A. from the Ohio State University Honors Program in 2010, where she graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. She earned her J.D. degree from Columbia University in 2013, where she was the Executive Editor of the Columbia Journal of Tax Law.
Ms. Pappas is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Cleveland. Additionally, she is an active leader in the Cleveland Jewish community, where she serves as a board member for the Jewish Federation of Cleveland’s Young Leadership Division and was selected for the 2019 Mandel Symposium cohort. Prior to moving to Cleveland, she served as a board member for several Jewish community organizations in New York City.
