Ron Teplitzky has been named President of Singerman, Mills, Desberg & Kauntz Co., L.P.A. (SMDK) to succeed Paul Singerman, who helped found the Firm in 2001 and served as President since then. Mr. Singerman will now become Chairman.
Ron Teplitzky, who has been practicing law for more than 30 years, has been with SMDK since 2011 and was unanimously elected President by SMDK’s principals. Mr. Teplitzky works in the areas of commercial lending, business organizations and business transactions. He has been listed in Chambers USA Leading Lawyers in the area of banking and finance since 2006, has been included in The Best Lawyers in America since 2006 and has been named an Ohio Superlawyer by Cincinnati Magazine numerous times since 2004. In 2015, Mr. Teplitzky was recognized by Best Lawyers as the Banking and Finance Lawyer of the Year in Cleveland.

Mr. Singerman has been a key driver in the Firm’s growth. In his new role as Chairman, Mr. Singerman will remain actively involved with the Firm’s clients and within the community. Mr. Singerman has been named in The Best Lawyers in America since 2007 and was recognized by Best Lawyers as the 2019 Real Estate Lawyer of the Year in Cleveland. He also has been named as an Ohio Superlawyer by Cincinnati Magazine numerous times since 2004.
