About Laura T. Pizmoht
Ms. Pizmoht focuses her practice on municipal law and currently serves as the Solicitor for North Perry Village and Assistant Law Director for Hunting Valley, Orange Village, Pepper Pike and Waite Hill. Ms. Pizmoht was tax counsel for the Sherwin-Williams Company, where she gained a wide variety of business-related tax experience, making her particularly adept at handling issues related to economic development for her public sector clients.
Ms. Pizmoht received her B.A. in Philosophy, cum laude, from Cleveland State University in 2001. She earned her J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 2004 and her LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law in 2006.
Ms. Pizmoht has served as an adjunct professor of State Taxation at Case Western Reserve University School of Law. She currently serves on the board of directors for the Lake Humane Society and is an advisory board member for the Salvation Army of Lake County. She is a member of the North Coast Lions Club and served on Willoughby Hills City Council from 2017 to 2019.
